The company says that the decision has been taken due to an escalation in commodity prices and supply chain-related inputs.

The premium carmaker, Kia has announced the price hike across the range. The company has confirmed the news via official release, saying the models will become 3 percent costlier compared to the current price range, starting from April 1.

In case you are planning to purchase any one of the models, the smart move is to reserve the vehicle right now to avoid a price hike. Once the deadline crosses, customers will have to pay an increased amount, which will remain constant for months. The price change will impact on the top-selling models including Seltos, Sonet, and Carens.

Here’s What Company’s Top Official Says

Speaking about the decision, the company’s Sales and Marketing head, Hardeep Singh Brar said, “At Kia, we consistently strive to deliver premium and technologically advanced products to our esteemed customers. However, due to the continuous increase in commodity prices, adverse exchange rate and rising input cost, we are compelled to implement a partial price hike.”

In addition, he said, “The company is absorbing a significant portion of the increase, allowing customers to continue driving their favorite Kia cars without a major dent in their pockets.”
