OnePlus 12 series has globally launched and here are the details
OnePlus 12 and 12R phones along with the OnePlus Buds 3 earbuds have launched in India and other markets. Here are all the details.
The OnePlus 12 series launched in India and global markets on Tuesday at its global event in Delhi. The new OnePlus flagship lineup also includes the mid-range flagship, the OnePlus 12R both of which were first introduced in China last year. OnePlus sees big value in launching its latest products earlier in the year, something the brand did in 2023 as well.
The OnePlus 12 lineup comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen chipsets, supports fast charging and gets Android 14-based OxygenOS out of the box.
OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R Price In India
The OnePlus 12 has launched in India at a starting price of Rs 64,999 going up to Rs 69,999 for the highest variant. The OnePlus 12R comes for a Rs 39,999 which gets you the 12GB RAM model this year. The phones will go on open sale from January 30.
OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in the market at Rs 5,499 from February 6 onwards.
OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R Features
OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch display, while the 12R sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with varying screen resolutions but adaptive 120Hz refresh rate is common for both. OnePlus is using the latest 8 Gen 3 chipset to power the OnePlus 12, while the 12R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which is no slouch either.
You get the OnePlus 12 with up to 16GB RAM while the 12R is available with 12GB RAM and storage goes up to 1TB this year. Both the devices get Android 14-based OxygenOS out of the box, and promise to get 4 years of OS upgrades from the brand.
OnePlus 12 features a premium camera module which consists of a 50MP wide sensor, along with a 64MP periscope lens and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. The front of the phone has a 32MP shooter. Coming to the OnePlus 12R, you have a 50MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP tertiary sensor. The front has a 16MP camera.
Moving to battery, OnePlus 12 packs a 5,400mAh unit which gets 100W wired and 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging support. The OnePlus 12R also has the same battery pack but only comes with 100W wired charging support.
