The motorcycle has been released at the starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom), and is available in a single variant as yet. However, it has been reported that the company might add more trims in the future. interested ones can reserve the vehicle by paying a token amount of Rs 5,000. It is available in four color options that include Glossy Racing Red, Brooklyn Black, Pewter Grey, and Metallic Pearl White.

Design
As they say, choices are subsector. Still, it is important to note that the company undoubtedly has invested some good efforts in the NS400Z. It is clearly can be seen from every corner. The motorcycle has been given a bold stance, which instantly grabs eyeballs easily. It features a round-shaped projector LED headlight setup, paired with stylish thick LED Day Running Lights (DRLs), and comes with smartly sculpted front fascia.
The vehicle has all the wow factors from the outside, which force the passer-by to turn their head at least once. The stylish alloy wheels add more feathers to its cap, leaving all the competition behind under the above-mentioned price range.
Features
Despite having the most affordable price tag in the segment, it does not feel like the company has done some cost-cutting. It has been treated with some impressive robust features. The list includes multiple riding modes ( Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road), a switchable traction control system, a charging port, and a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument console, which offers a turn-by-turn navigation system, making it easy for the rider to cover long distance effortlessly.

Engine and Power
At the heart, NS400Z is powered by the 373cc single-cylinder engine, which generates a maximum power of 39.5 bhp and a torque of 35 Nm. It is the same engine that is used in the existing Dominar 400, derived from the second-gen 390 Duke.
Despite sharing the same unit, the NS400Z is quite light compared to Dominar and offers higher fuel efficiency. It has been claimed by the brand that it can provide a decent mileage of 28.5kmpl, while Dominar claimed to offer 26.5kmpl in the city.
Suspension
Bajaj has used the gold-finished 43mm USD fork setup at the front, while the rear has been treated with a mono-shock. It comes with a split seating position. The rider gets inclined seating positioning, making it easy for them to hug the fuel tank perfectly with the thighs. The positioning also could be a drawback for those who are not familiar with such kind of riding position.
The 17-inch wheels at both ends offer rooted grip while on run. When it comes to the braking, it is managed by a 4-piston Grimeca axial caliper 320 mm disc at the front, while the rear is complimented by a 230 mm disc.
Here’s What We Feel
We have ridden the NS400Z for quite a decent number of kilometers, we feel it is a perfect machine for the daily commute or long journey sometimes. When it crosses around 5500rpm, it feels a slight vibration under the seat, handlebar, and even on the pegs. Sometimes it feels underconfident while leaning on the bike or taking sharp turns. However, if treated gently, NS400Z would not give you anything to complain about.
