Samsung’s new flagship phone has run into charging issues and it seems the company is going to fix the problem soon.
The company has admitted to the issue and will fix it soon
Samsung Galaxy S25 series came out last month and have generally got a good response for its features and AI focus. But it seems the company is aware of certain issues that have plagued some models and has offered an update for them recently.
Some Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra users complained about slower charging speeds in the wired mode and trying to charge it with fast speeds. These devices officially support 45W charging speed but you need the original cable and adapter to make that happen.
Samsung Charging Issues: What To Do
Reports say people have said they noticed the charging speeds are inconsistent using adapters that support fast charging. The company seems to have realised the issue and is going to push an update to fix the charging problem which is good to see. We checked for issues independently and did not find the phones charging slowly.
The brand is also advising the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25+ users to charge the phones with USB C cable that you get in the box. As you might know, Samsung does not offer a charger in the box and the 45W unit costs around Rs 2,500 to give you the right speeds.
Charging Tips Differ
Giants like Samsung and Apple have played it safe with charging speeds for their batteries and most times they attribute that to the overall longevity of the device. But we have already seen the battery tech evolve and how the fast speeds don’t have a major impact on the life of the device. We’ll be waiting for the next update from Samsung and see if these charging issues do get resolved.
The company launched its new F-series phone in India recently which comes with the promise of 4 OS upgrades and Android 15 out of the box.
