Meghan Markle has reportedly completed filming her upcoming Netflix show which would “celebrate the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship”. This show was part of her and Prince Harry‘s $100 million deal with Netflix which would end by the end of 2025. “It all went well, and it is in the can,” according to an insider. PR consultant Mark Borkowski said it could be a relaunch to something new and interesting for the former actor.
The filming started around March with some parts shot on a property owned by Montecito’s philanthropists, Tom and Sherrie Cipolla — a few miles away from Meghan’s residence. Another undisclosed location was also used for filming.
Far from the royal family glory, Markle is turning into this new venture as she reportedly aims to establish herself as a lifestyle expert like Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Harry & Meghan was the first venture of the duo on Netflix which chronicled their romance and their eventual departure from the royal family in 2020 to relocate to California.
The Netflix show does not yet have a run date or a title but the filming has been done. Meghan was last week spotted in a Los Angeles park taking part in a photoshoot.
When Harry and Meghan signed the deal with Netflix, they released a statement saying: “Our lives, both independent of each other and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.”
‘Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.’
Meghan has already unveiled her new business venture America Riviera Orchard — a lifestyle brand under which she intends to sell an array of products — jam, skincare, make-up, gardening supplies, dog food, scented candles.
