The company says it has become the first luxury car manufacturer in India that has touched the 2,000 EV deliveries milestone.
The German Car maker BMW has started the year 2024 with a bang in India. The company not only has registered impressive sales numbers in the market but also attracted a lot of new customers. Now, the brand has shared the sales report for the first half of 2024.
As per the details shared by the BMW Group via official release, it has sold over 6,734 BMW cars and 364 Mini in the Indian market, making it a total units of 7,098.
Overall Rise in Car Sales
The company called the achievement the highest-ever half-yearly car sales. It has been informed by the brand that BMW India also reported an increment of 21 percent in car sales (BMW + MINI). The demand for sporty and luxury models also witnessed a sharp rise, all thanks to cutting-edge technology and robust performances across product lines.
EV Demand
When it comes to the EV section, over 397 units of both BMW and MINI were released from the warehouse for customers. Amid this, the BMW i7 has been titled as top-selling EV in H1, taking the top spot in the high-end circle.

BMW Motorrad
As far as the two-wheeler segment is concerned, the BMW Motorrad also did some wonders in its segment. The division has sold more than 3,610 motorcyle in the last 7 months.
