Bajaj Auto, a key player in the Indian market, has reported robust sales data for June 2024, showcasing a significant uptick in both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
According to their latest disclosure, the company sold a total of 3,58,477 vehicles in June 2024, marking a 5 percent increase from the same month last year, where they sold 3,40,981 units.
For the entire April-June quarter of FY25, Bajaj Auto recorded sales of 11,02,056 units, encompassing both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. This figure represents a notable 7 percent rise compared to the first quarter of FY24, underscoring the company’s growth trajectory.
According to The Free Press Journal, investors have responded positively to these numbers, with Bajaj Auto’s shares rising by over 1 percent at the start of trading on July 1. The stock, listed on the NSE, climbed by 1.10 percent or Rs 104.25, reaching Rs 9,605.90 per share by 10:13 AM.
The standout performer in June was the commercial vehicle segment, which saw sales surge by 16 percent, from 47,332 units in June 2023 to 54,831 units this year. This increase reflects growing demand and market confidence in Bajaj Auto’s offerings.
