Google points out that the data is reviewed manually so people should avoid adding details like their email addresses or phone numbers and share it with the AI chatbot.
The other important part about training AI models is that more data is available, the faster they learn and get better. Google seems to have a policy where all the conversations with Gemini for up to 72 hours are saved by the company, which it claims helps with improving Gemini Apps.
For those who might not have followed the rules of using the Gemini AI chatbot, Google can store data like location, your conversations, and your time spent on the AI tool among others. Google has always used improving services and products as the reason for collecting data or tracking users but with a growing need to put a leash on the amount of data the company can access, it is advisable that you be smart with how you plan to use any AI chatbot.
