According to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, Mary J. Blige, Eric B. & Rakim, Jane’s Addiction and Dave Matthews Band, and the third for A Tribe Called Quest have been nominated for the second time. Two-thirds of the names like Cher, Frampton and Foreigner have been nominated for the first time.
Cyndi Lauper and The White Stripes appeared on the 2023 ballot, but did not find place this year.

Talking to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation said that the remarkable list of nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates. He further added, “these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps.”
