Sunny, who has a number of Porsche cars in his collection, acquired the new 992 Porsche 911 GT3 back in June last year.
Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol is recognised as a big fan of Porsche supercars.
The Gadar actor was spotted posing in front of a 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring alongside his father Dharmendra a few days back.
The father-son duo was reportedly on their way to Udaipur to attend the wedding of Dharmendra’s granddaughter. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Sunny wrote, “Main Papa Nikle Gaddi Leke to Udaipur.”
Sunny, who has a number of Porsche cars in his collection, acquired the new 992 Porsche 911 GT3 back in June last year. He has purchased the unique Touring variant of the supercar, which comes in a classy-looking Gentian Blue shade. It is equipped with satin black wheels and red brake callipers. Sunny might have done some other modifications to the model but they are yet to be revealed.
The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring is actually a wingless version of the track-focused 992-generation Porsche 911. This customised variant of the GT3 has been specially designed to offer sheer comfort. The Touring variant comes with a six-speed gated manual gearbox.
It is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six engine, which is capable of generating a maximum power of 502 bhp and a peak torque of 470 Nm. Thanks to the naturally aspirated powertrain, the Porsche 911 GT3 Touring can be accelerated from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds, with the top speed being 317 kmph.
Sunny was first spotted driving his Porsche G3 Touring in the streets of Mumbai back in November last year. An auto-related Facebook page named Car Crazy India dropped a picture of the car, which was seen being refuelled by the actor’s assistant.
During an interview last year, Sunny revealed his admiration for Porsche cars, saying, “I am not an SUV person, but I am a great fan of Porsche cars. I love Porsche. I remember that when my son Rocky (Karan Deol) was born, I wanted to bring him home in a Porsche, and that’s when I bought a Porsche 911.”
Besides the GT3 Touring, the Deol family also owns a 993-generation Porsche 911 and a classic 964 Porsche. According to media reports, these cars have been kept at their residence in the United Kingdom. Apart from these sportsrcars, Sunny also has a Land Rover Defender luxury SUV and a Jeep Meridian SUV in his decorated garage.
