Speaking to India Today TV, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri said, “I would like to thank the Supreme Court on behalf of millions of people. We have been running this campaign (CBI for Sushant Singh Rajput death case) for a long time. The reason is that there are so many holes in the story, and Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Government were trying to cover it up. I think it is a big victory, justice must prevail.”

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh also hailed the SC verdict.

Actor Raza Murad also welcomed the SC order and said the decision to hand over the case to CBI is appropriate. “I think whatever the Supreme Court has ordered, is totally appropriate. I am very much satisfied that they have given this job to CBI. Justice would be done, I am sure about it. At last, now the investigation is on the right track. This is very good beginning and we are hoping justice would be done now,” he said while speaking to India Today TV.

“At the end, we want justice. Whether the case is being investigated by Mumbai Police or CBI,” he added.

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail also spoke to India Today TV and expressed his views on the SC verdict. “There is nobody who has the right to pass a comment on the whole case. The Supreme Court must have seen something in the case that they gave the jurisdiction to CBI. One has to accept that and go with that. It is not for any one of us to decide whether Patna Police was right or Mumbai Police was right – the highest court has decided the course of action,” he said.
