SAVE $300: The 256GB base model of HP’s 15-inch Pavilion Laptop usually starts at $649.99 (depending on the color), but you can score it on sale for as low as $349.99 this Black Friday.

The vast majority of laptops we’ve seen on sale at Amazon and Best Buy this Black Friday have been fancy-shmancy models best suited for power users — your MacBook Pros, your Microsoft Surface Book 3s, your LG Grams. (You get it.) Deals on budget laptops have popped up here and there, but most haven’t lasted long.

With that in mind, it’s time to hustle on over to the HP Store: Select configurations of the brand’s lightweight 15-inch Pavillion Laptop were on sale there at the time of writing for a whopping $300 off, making it as cheap as $349.99 — an impressive 46% savings. (This is one of the site’s limited-time Black Friday doorbuster deals, FYI — click here to see the full lineup.)

That price is way cheaper than the one HP had advertised in its Black Friday preview ad, so if you’ve been thinking about upgrading your current machine after working or learning remotely for the past six months or so, take this as a sign to pull the trigger.

That $349.99 configuration is a ceramic white base model featuring 256GB of storage space, 8GB of RAM, Windows 10 Home 64, a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, B&O audio, and AMD Ryzen 7 4700U. (That’s an all-new 8-core processor from earlier this year that’s gotten great reviews so far.) If you’ve got a little wiggle room in your budget, HP gives you the option of upgrading certain specs like its operating system, keyboard, memory, resolution, WiFi connectivity, and color for as little as $10 apiece.

If you want to grab a protection plan or some new productivity software for the laptop while you’re at it, you’re in luck: HP has *also* marked those down for Black Friday. You can add a two-year warranty for as low as $74.99 and Microsoft Office Home & Student for just $99.99 — discounts of $25 and $50, respectively.
