RCMP seek two after armed robbery report at Stony Plain Circle K.

Two suspects remain at large after a reported armed robbery in Stony Plain.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a call about a holdup at a convenience store located at 48th Street and 44th Avenue in Stony Plain. A male and female are alleged to have entered the store and demanded money while the male was captured on surveillance video with what appeared to be a handgun. After receiving money the pair fled the immediate police response that did not end up locating them, the firearm was recovered near the scene and the clerk on duty did not receive any injuries as a result of the incident.

The female is described as having dark hair, appearing to be in her early 20s, wearing a blue hoodie with white writing on the arm, a white circular logo on the chest, dark sunglasses and a white mask while being about five-Foot-Three in height. Her male partner is reported to be six feet tall, with dark wavy hair, appearing to be in his early 20s and was wearing a grey hoodie and black mask with some white patterns.
