Face masks may be designed to keep us safe, but that doesn’t mean they can’t look fashionable.
And PrettyLittleThing has unveiled a new sell-out item that shoppers can’t get enough of – a face mask dress.
The clothing giant has designed a black bodycon dress with a face mask incorporated into it for £14 – and it’s proved so popular it has sold out online.
But the bizarre dress left some shoppers confused, with one tweeting: “I don’t know if I love it or hate it”.
The all-in-one dress was recently spotted on model Lottie Moss, 22, as she strutted through London prompted fans to rush to get their hands on it.
The dress, which has a roll neck that goes over the mouth and nose and loopholes to hook behind your ears, is now sold out in every size.
The item description reads: “This dress is perfect for those nights with the dolls.
“Featuring a black jersey material with long sleeves, a figure-hugging fit and a mask detail.
“Style this with strappy heels and simple accessories to complete the look.”
Shoppers expressed mixed reactions over the dress after PrettyLittleThing posted a photo of it on Twitter, with some claiming it is “stupid”.
One person wrote: “This is actually a cute look.”
Another commented: “Omg hahahaha I want it”.
Meanwhile, another wrote: “Don’t know if I love it or hate it”.
And one simply wrote: “Stupid”.
It is not known if the soft jersey dress, which was available in UK sizes 4-16, will be back in stock again for the winter – so keep your eyes peeled.
