Mumbai: Among key bulk deals on Friday, private equity giant KKR further sold its stake in Gautam Thapar-promoted CG Power & Industrial Solutions.

KKR India had sold some of its stake in the company last week, and L&T Finance exited its 10 per cent stake in the company over the last one week.

In September 2019, private equity giant KKR India had picked up nearly 10 per cent stake in CG Power and Industrial Solutions for over Rs 89 crore by enforcing pledge on credit facilities extended to a promoter firm of the crisis-hit company.

On Friday, benchmark equity indices logged gains for the second straight session on Friday, buoyed by gains in world equities, and helped by continued strong foreign fund inflows.

BSE’s 30-share Sensex climbed 0.6 per cent to 38,435, while NSE’s 50-share Nifty rose 0.5 per cent to 11,372.

Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk and block deals of the day:
>> KKR India Financial Services sold a total of 2,16,60,588 shares of CG Power and Industrial Solutions on BSE and NSE, while KKR India Debt Opportunities Fund II sold 34,64,021 shares in the company on the BSE.

At the end of June, KKR India Financial Services and KKR India Debt Opportunities Fund II and L&T Finance held 8.10 per cent and 1.91 per cent stake in the company, respectively.

>> Jwalamukhi Investment Holdings sold 3,49,332 shares of Ceat on BSE at Rs 871.28 per share, and another 4,88,249 shares on NSE at Rs 871.24. The company held 5.77 per cent stake in the company at the end of June.

>> ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 9,50,000 shares of Sudarshan Chemical Industries at Rs 430.05 per share while Rohit Kishor Rathi sold 10,00,000 shares in the company, at Rs 430.16 per share. The latter held 6 per cent stake in the company at the end of June.

>> Porinju Veliyath-owned Equity Intelligence India acquired additional 80,000 shares in Orient Bell at Rs 91.87 per share on the NSE. Equity Intelligence India held 1.57 percent stake in the company at the end of June.

>> Aviator Global Investment Fund bought 33,50,000 shares of Vikas Multicorp at Rs 16.70 per share.

>> Plutus Wealth Management bought 3,15,000 shares of BASF at Rs 1,584.46 per share.

>> Clix Capital Services sold 164,00,000 shares of Future Consumer at Rs 10.74 per share. It had sold 111,65,000 shares of the company on Thursday.

>> Environment Agency Active Pension Fund sold 4,02,933 shares of VA Tech Wabag at Rs 207.59 per share.

>> Clearwater Capital Partners Singapore Fund IV sold 3,77,000 shares of Flexituff Ventures International at Rs 7.90 per share, while the New World Capital bought 1,30,000 shares of the company at the same price.
