MG has previously listed the new SUV on its website, making launch in India imminent. This would be MG’s fourth product in the market after Hector, ZS EV and Hector Plus.
As per the images teased earlier, the Gloster SUV will carry a bold front facia with a big chrome grille and LED headlamps. Gloster was showcased during the Auto Expo 2020.

What’s in automotive technology?
It is expected that the new SUV will feature a host of advanced safety features including lane departure warning, collision warning system and much more. We are used to seeing these features in the likes of Volvo XC90, Land Cruiser Prado and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Morris Garages foraying into the premium segment, intends to sell 5,000-6,000 units of Gloster SUV annually to begin with, a top company official had told TOI on the sidelines of the unveiling at the 2020 Auto Expo.
“With Gloster, we are trying to bring an Rs 80-90 lakh product to the market at around Rs 50 lakh. We are showcasing and unveiling the product at the Auto Expo and plan to launch it during Diwali this year,” Rajeev Chaba, MG Motors India, anaging Director, had said.
“Gloster will be a low volume game. To keep reinforcing the brand and show technological prowess, we will drive in new products here. The volume should be around 5,000-6,000 annually,” Chaba said.
It is estimated be priced between Rs 45 lakh – Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). Gloster will rival Land Cruiser Prado and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
