Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has never shied away from voicing her opinion, which is mostly standing up for important social causes. Even though it has resulted in people mercilessly trolling her, she’s always stayed firm in her beliefs. Now, recently, the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress reacted to a man asking if right-wingers were allowed to have a crush on her. The Twitter user wrote, ‘Are you allowed to be a right-winger and still have a crush on Swara Bhasker’. Retweeting the same tweet, Swara wrote, ‘Question of the day!!,’ followed by a number of emojis. A month ago, the actress joined the protesting farmers at the Singhu border, she took to Twitter and posted a few pictures, in which she is seen sitting with the farmers. Bhasker, in her tweet, said it was a humbling day and expressed admiration over the ‘grit, resolve, and determination’ of the farmers. She also shared more pictures of the protesters, with the caption, ‘Snapshots of resilience’. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, have already extended their support to farmers protesting against the new farm laws. Meanwhile, on the professional front, After making her debut in 2010 with Hrithik Roshan-starrer ‘Guzaarish’, Swara made a mark only in 2011-12 when she featured in Anand L Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ which featured R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.
