IT and business consultancy DB Results has appointed Chris Pearce as managing partner.

“Chris will be a vital member of our senior executive leadership team and will have a focus on working with the team as we develop and continue to grow our partnership with clients in sectors such as financial services, public sector, health, energy and utilities.”
Pearce joins DB Results from NGS Global, where he was managing partner.
He previously held a variety of executive and non-executive directorships at organisations including Telstra, and was the Federal Member for Aston (outer eastern Melbourne) for nine years, during which time he spent three years as Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, and one year as Shadow Minister for Financial Services.
Pearce is currently deputy chairman and non-executive director at the St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, a non-executive director of Creative Partnerships Australia, a non-executive director of the McKinnon Institute, an external representative on the learning, engagement and innovation board committee of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and an adjunct professor at Deakin University.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Monash University and an MBA from Deakin University.
