Mouni Roy, who will soon be seen in The Bhootnii, recently recalled a scary fan encounter when a stranger tried to break into her room at midnight.
The Midnight Scare
In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Mouni shared a frightening incident from her travels. She recalled staying in a small town — the exact location she couldn’t remember — where a stranger tried to unlock her hotel room door at midnight by stealing a key. Fortunately, Mouni was not alone at the time and had her manager with her, which made the situation less dangerous. The Hotel’s Dismissive Response
She further shared that she immediately began screaming when she realized someone was trying to enter the room. When they contacted the hotel receptionist for help, the staff casually brushed it off, suggesting it was probably just housekeeping.
Questioning the Receptionist’s Logic
She ended by questioning the receptionist, asking how anyone from housekeeping could attempt to open a door without knocking or ringing the bell, especially at 12:30 at night.
