Luggage and accessories brand Eume has joined forces with a group of contemporary artists for the first time, comprising Chaitanya Dixit, Guncha Sharma, Mooz, Doodle Mopez, and Bhavna Jasra, to launch its latest collection of 24 bags.
“Art has the power to transform the everyday- and that’s exactly what we set out to do with this collection,” said Eume’s founder Naina Parekh in a press release. “To celebrate World Art Day, we’re unveiling a limited-edition series that merges the worlds of creative expression and travel. By turning our 100% aluminium luggage into bold, mobile canvases, we’ve created pieces that aren’t just functional- they’re statements, collectables, and stories in motion.”
The limited edition collection reimagines accessories as “wearable canvases,” according to the label. With a varied range of aesthetics from intricately detailed art to bold, graphic designs, the collection is designed to mix function with storytelling and celebrate World Art Day, which takes place on April 15.
“Luggage is often seen as purely utilitarian, but with this initiative, we’re giving it a new voice- one that speaks through bold visuals, intentional craftsmanship, and true individuality,” said Parekh. “You don’t usually travel with art. But now, with these cases, you can travel as art.”
Eume retails from its direst to customer e-commerce store. The brand was founded by Naina Parekh and Pranay Parekh and its name is derived from ‘you and me,’ according to its website.
