Airtel postpaid and Wi-Fi customers taking the higher plans can now avail these Apple streaming benefits with their account.
Apple TV+ offers popular shows like Ted Lasso and these users get it for free now
Airtel and Apple have joined hands this month to give its subscribers free access to some of the popular Apple platforms. The deal will allow Airtel postpaid and Wi-Fi customers to access Apple TV+ streaming app using their account. The telco says all postpaid mobile users and Airtel Xstream Fibre customers can stream the Apple TV+ content catalogue by choosing select Wi-Fi or postpaid plans.
Airtel becomes the first internet service provider (ISP) in the country to offer Apple TV+ streaming access. That’s not all, the postpaid customers will have short period access to Apple Music for free. The streaming platform offers content to all of its home Wi-Fi (Xstream Fiber) customers who have the Rs 999 or higher plans.
Similarly, Apple Music and Apple TV+ will be free for six months for Airtel postpaid mobile customers. These subscriptions will be offered on plans above Rs 999.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of the new Apple TV+ and Music plans:
Postpaid Plans
Airtel Rs 999 plan: You get 150GB data and access to apps like Apple TV+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, Jio Hotstar, Xstream Play Unlimited (20+ OTTs) and more (OTT Benefits).
Airtel Rs 1,199 plan: With this plan Airtel offers 190GB data along with access to Apple TV+, Apple Music, Amazon Prime, Jio Hotstar, Xstream Play Unlimited (20+ OTTs) and more (OTT Benefits).
Airtel Rs 1,399 plan: Customers get 240GB data as well as access to Apple TV+, Apple Music, Netflix Basic Unlimited, Amazon Prime, Jio Hotstar, Xstream Play Unlimited (20+ OTTs) and more (OTT Benefits).
Airtel Rs 1,749 plans: And finally, this plan offers 320GB data and access to Apple TV+, Apple Music, Netflix Standard Unlimited, Amazon Prime, Jio Hotstar, Xstream Play Unlimited (20+ OTTs) and more (OTT Benefits).
