Ammy Virk recently spoke about his journey from a middle-class background to a successful star. He shared that every shower in his current home comes for Rs 6 lakh, leaving a long way behind for which he started.

He spoke highly of his roots and how, after his success in Punjab, he returned the debt of Rs 30-40 lakh his parents had incurred and built a new house for them in their village.
“My entire childhood, we would only hear about loans of Rs 25 lakh, Rs 30 lakh, interest rates, saving for sister’s wedding. That’s what happens in middle class families. Me and my brother were sent for expensive higher studies. Like a semester’s fee would be Rs 60,000-70,000. It’s not that we were poor or anything, we were blessed. My father educated us well, took care of us. Even my first album, my father put in money for that,” he said.
