Maruti Suzuki Enhances Warranty Programmes, Applicable on Vehicles Delivered from July 9

Maruti Suzuki has enhanced its standard warranty package for Indian customers. As per the details shared by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the standard warranty has been revised from 2 years or 40,000 km to 3 years or 1,00,000 km (whichever is earlier).

The brand says the benefit applies to the vehicles, which will be delivered from July 9, 2024. The newly introduced warranty programme covers transmission, engine, electrical & mechanical components, and air conditioning systems excluding consumables.

Under Warranty Benefits

In case, customers find any faults or issues with any of the above-mentioned components, they can directly visit an authorised service centre and get the vehicle repaired free of cost. To note, the complimentary service is only applicable on the vehicles that fall under the warranty package.

New Warranty Packages

Apart from this, the company has also launched multiple extended warranty packages, ensuring a complete peace of mind ownership experience. It has introduced a total of three extended warranty packages that include a Platinum Package, Royal Platinum Package and Solitaire Package.

The former comes with an extended warranty of up to 4 years or 1,20,000 km, while the Royal Platinum and Solitaire packages include an extended warranty of up to 5 years or 1,40,000 km and 6 years or 1,60,000 km (whichever is earlier) respectively.
