From Tata Punch to Maruti WagonR, Here’s List of Top Bestsellers in April 2024

The Indian auto industry is currently witnessing an overwhelming response from customers. From launching new cars to adding multiple trims every month, manufacturers leaving no stone unturned to make it huge. As we are almost in the middle of the year, and reporting decent sales growth in every segment, we have shortlisted top cars that attracted the masses in April 2024.

The top spaces have been occupied by the leading car makers Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai. These brands not only reported impressive sales figures last month but also made it tougher for the competitors to do well in the business.

Tata Punch

The list has been topped by Tata Punch. It has been reported that the company sold more than 19,150 units last month, securing the top position in the compact SUV segment.

The vehicle was launched at the starting price of Rs 7.03 lakh in India, while the top model costs Rs 11.98 lakh (all ex-showroom). It can be purchased in both CNG and petrol versions, featuring a trusted 1199 cc engine, which offers decent mileage between 18.8 to 26.99 kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The second position has been taken by the Maruti WagonR. The company successfully retailed more than 17,849 units last month, putting the vehicle in the top-performing category.

The model was launched under the price bracket between Rs 5.54 lakh to Rs 7.38 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It was offered in four variants, allowing the customers to choose from LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus. The LXi and VXi trims can be purchased in CNG options as well.

Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Creta

Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Creta also did well in the market and attracted a lot of buyers last month. Both the models have achieved impressive sales figures of 17,113 and 15,447 respectively.

While the former comes under the price range between Rs 8.34 lakh to Rs 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the latter can be purchased at the starting price of Rs 11.00, while the top model costs Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
