Namma Metro Construction Sparks Advisory for Commuters. (Representative Image)
The construction will take place nightly from 11 pm to 6 am for a period of 20 days, starting May 1, as per the traffic police.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) is advising everyone about possible delays due to Namma Metro construction work on the southern part of Outer Ring Road (ORR).
The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has kicked off the laying of a 220 kV cable along the metro line. The construction will take place from Salarpuria Soft Zone on the Ibbalur service road towards Centro Mall, Bellandur, as reported by Times Now News.
Starting from May 1, the construction will run from 11 pm to 6 am daily for 20 days, as informed by the traffic police.
On this 620-meter stretch of the road, expect slower traffic movements. However, congestion issues during peak hours are not expected.
The advisory issued by the traffic police reads, “Slow moving traffic from Ibbalur towards Bellandur due to BMRCL cable laying Construction Work (11 PM – 6AM everyday).
