Renowned producer Shinsadong Tiger‘s untimely passing at the age of 40 has sent shockwaves through the K-pop industry. On February 23, TR Entertainment, the agency representing Shinsadong Tiger, confirmed the heartbreaking news, expressing their grief and stating, “As this news came suddenly, we are currently confirming the specific details. Once we have sorted everything out, we will provide information regarding funeral arrangements and other details”, as quoted by Soompi.
Among his many achievements, Shinsadong Tiger is best known for his work with some of K-pop’s most iconic groups. From T-ara’s infectious ‘Roly-Poly’ to Apink’s beloved anthems ‘NoNoNo’ and ‘Remember’, his discography reads like a who’s who of chart-topping hits. Additionally, his collaborations with EXID on tracks like ‘Up & Down’ and ‘DDD’, as well as Momoland’s viral sensation ‘BBoom BBoom’, earned him a reputation as one of the industry’s most influential producers.
