The 2024 Tata Nexon Dark Edition, with its sleek exterior, set to launch next month in India, featuring 14 variants, matching interior, and upgraded aesthetics.

The 2024 version of the Tata Nexon Dark Edition is set to be launched in the Indian market next month.

Upon its arrival, the premium SUV is tipped to compete against some popular offerings in this segment such as the Kia Sonet X Line and the Hyundai Venue N Line.

When Tata Motors first introduced the Dark edition of the Nexon SUV, it was able to create much buzz among Indian customers, thanks to its sleek, dark-back exterior.

According to an X post by Moton Arena India, the brand-new Nexon will be offered in as many as 14 variants that include various configurations in both fuel options– petrol and diesel. The petrol trim of the Tata Nexon Dark Edition will be available in eight different models, while the diesel trim will get six options, based on the transmissions.

All of these variants come with the glossy Atlas Black exterior shade. Interestingly, the Dark Edition finish won’t be available for the Pure and Smart trim levels.

Anticipations about the next Tata Nexon Dark Edition are rife since an EV variant of the SUV was showcased at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. The new ICT model is expected to get the Atlas Black monochromatic paint with a matching roof.

The car will be equipped with 5-spoke Gun Metal Grey alloy wheels while roof rails get the same grey shade. Unlike the previous variants, the Dark Edition badge will be displayed both on the front fenders and rear tailgate, making the look more fascinating.

Inside the cabin, the Nexon Dark Edition is expected to feature a dark interior, matching the shade of the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, and roof liners. To give the cabin a more athletic feel, highlight stitching in red or white may also be included. Despite the monochromatic tone, the cabin is anticipated to offer a modern and sophisticated vibe.

The engine configuration is expected to remain unchanged. The Nexon Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine or a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, offering top-notch on-road performance. Though Tata Motors is yet to reveal the price of the 2024 version, the cost will be slightly higher than the previous models, which come in the range of Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 15.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
