Realme Europe CEO Francis Wong has shared a hands-on image of an upcoming smartphone on his official X account. The smartphone seems to be a modified version of the Realme 12 Pro+ that may arrive with a “see-through” back panel. Wong teased that the special variant of the Realme 12 Pro+ will launch soon and is expected to be available in limited quantities.
Realme 12 Pro series: Key specs
Both phones feature similar design and curved 6.7-inch AMOLED screens that offer 120Hz refresh rates. The smartphones pack 5,000 mAh batteries and support 67W fast charging.
The Realme 12 Pro+ model is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip and is backed by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the vanilla Realme 12 Pro variant features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
The Pro model also has a more capable triple camera system with a 50MP main sensor, 64MP periscope telephoto module with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
On the other hand, the less expensive Pro model also houses a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit, but comes with a 32MP telephoto sensor that supports 2x optical zoom.
For selfies and video calls, both smartphones in the lineup support a 16MP front camera. Both models come with IP65 dust and water resistant rating and run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 skin.
