During the time when electrification is at peak, and the market is flooded with compact SUVs and wannabe crossovers, Tata has launched a coupe-type electric SUV called Curvv.
The model has already dominated the segment in so many ways, still a big thanks to cutting-edge technology and impressive price range. It starts at Rs 17.49 lakh and the top model price goes up to Rs 22.24 lakh (all ex-showroom).

Impressive Road Presence And Aesthetics
Hate or love it, but you simply cannot ignore the fact that the Curvv EV looks somehow an attention seeker on the road. The striking Coupe-SUV design takes all the credit, and the bold aesthetic makes it look different from the competition. There is no doubt that it is silent from inside, but still screams from outside with its style statement.
Those sloping rooflines and futuristic silhouettes can simply be considered as just eye candy. The model has been treated with some of the cool elements that position it a step ahead of the competition. The list includes flush door handles, connected tail lamps,a fully LED headlight setup with sharp LED DRLs and a massive bonnet that adds serious visual drama from outside.
The SUV is even bigger in overall size, measuring over 4.3 meters longer, falling on the larger scale compared to Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Creta EV.
Interior Details
Inside the cabin, the customers get a dual-tone white and grey colour combination. The e-SUV is filled with a long list of features that includes top elements like touch-based climate control panel, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch floating infotainment touchscreen, supported by all the wireless car connect technology, including Android, Auto and Apple Carplay.
The other notable features include wireless charging, rotary drive selector, illuminated multi-function steering wheel, powered tailgate with gesture control, a 320W 9-speaker JBL sound system and an insane 500 litres of boot space.
No More Range Anxiety
The Curvv electric is available in both 45 – 55 kWh battery setups, which are capable of offering an impressive range of 430 – 502 km, respectively, on a single charge. It takes only 40 minutes for the vehicle to make it charge from 10-100 percent, using -70kW charger.
When it comes to the power, the company claims it is capable of offering a maximum output between 148 – 165 bhp.
What About Safety?
According to the details shared by the brand, the Curvv EV has gone through tough testing and came out clean with a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP. The rating applies to both the model’s electric and ICE versions. Apart from this, the vehicle also managed to score a decent rating in adult and child occupant safety as well.
