KTM has unveiled the 2026 version of its top-tier off-road beast – the 450 Rally Replica. Designed to mirror KTM’s championship-winning Dakar Rally machine, this bike is built for riders demanding peak performance in the toughest rally environments. From rugged trails and desert sands to high-speed rally sections, the Rally Replica is crafted with race-ready precision to handle it all effortlessly.
2026 KTM 450 Rally Replica: Know All About This Limited Edition
The 2026 KTM 450 Rally Replica stays true to its Dakar roots, closely replicating the look and performance of the brand’s iconic race bike. At the front, it sports a vertically stacked LED headlight neatly tucked into a transparent rally-style fairing that also serves as a wind deflector, as per the official website.
Just behind it is a newly redesigned carbon-fibre navigation tower, built to house either a traditional paper roadbook or a modern digital navigation system, offering flexibility for all types of rally racers.
The cockpit is purpose-built for competition, featuring a one-piece tubular handlebar, precision-machined billet triple clamps, and an array of navigation switches for quick access during rides.
Underneath, the bike is supported by a robust, laser-cut and hand-welded chassis, engineered to endure extreme terrain, the official website states. Suspension duties are handled by high-end 48mm WP XACT Pro closed-cartridge forks up front and a fully adjustable mono-shock at the rear—both specifically tuned to deliver outstanding control and comfort over long-distance, high-speed rally stages. This setup ensures the Rally Replica can tackle everything from rocky trails to expansive desert runs with confidence and precision.
Powering the 2026 Rally Replica is a completely new 450cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected SOHC engine paired with a six-speed transmission. Although KTM hasn’t revealed exact power figures yet, the focus has been on optimising efficiency and thermal management. To that end, the bike now features a dual-radiator setup, replacing the older single-radiator design for improved cooling in extreme conditions.
Completing the race-ready package is a lightweight Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, which boosts performance while minimising overall weight.
The 2026 KTM 450 Rally Replica is purpose-built for long-distance endurance racing, featuring three fuel tanks—two at the front and one at the rear—with a combined capacity of around 34.5 litres. This extended range is crucial for tackling gruelling multi-stage rally events. Rider comfort and performance are prioritised through an aerodynamically optimised fairing designed to reduce wind resistance and rider fatigue during high-speed stages.
Inside the cockpit, the integrated rally dashboard includes essential warning indicators and mounts for advanced navigation systems, ensuring riders stay informed and on course in demanding environments.
Braking performance is top-tier, with a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc delivering strong, reliable stopping power—perfect for steep descents and technical terrain.
KTM continues to keep the Rally Replica highly exclusive. In 2025, just 100 units will be produced, each priced at $40,000 (approximately Rs 33.38 lakh, excluding taxes). For 2026, production will increase slightly to 150 units, maintaining its premium appeal for professional rally competitors and dedicated off-road enthusiasts.
