The launch marks a strategic shift for the company, which has over three decades of experience in the bags and accessories market, towards the contemporary luxury segment.
Akiki London debuts with a collection of handbags that fuse global design influences with artisanal craftsmanship, announced the new label in a press release. Inspired by the agate gemstone, known for its layered strength and beauty, the brand seeks to offer fashion that is both meaningful and expressive. Akiki is positioned as a label for women who look beyond functionality, opting instead for fashion that reflects identity and intent.
Rooted in London’s cultural aesthetic, the brand aims to reinterpret handbags as personal statements. Akiki has partnered with manufacturing specialists across Europe and Asia to meet international standards of quality while keeping prices competitive.
Adding a distinctive visual identity, Akiki introduces ‘Kiki’, a British Bulldog mascot that serves as the brand’s muse. Kiki will appear across campaigns and in-store displays, designed to build emotional engagement with consumers.
