Tom Cruise’s ex-girlfriend, Penelope Cruz, whom the actor had dated during the early 2000s (2001-2004), is reportedly supportive of the relationship between Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise.
As reported in Daily Mail, Ana has said that Penelope is happy with her, she approves. She went on to state that the two were acquainted to each other from the movie, and share common friends from Madrid as well.
The report further added Ana’s experiences with stalkers and fans who got upset with her during her stay in Venice Beach, which resulted in her shift to a remote. The insider added that she loves being away from “the crazy”, sharing that even during travels, Tom ensures she is never at risk.
Ana has a thing for older men, and Tom fits the bill of her type”, added another source who went on to share that the actress would never be affectionate with someone just to land a role. The insider emphasised that “Ana does not give her heart away that easy”, revealing that the couple is still “taking it day by day”.

It also suggests a specific motivation, stating that the actor apparently views her as an ideal partner within Scientology, with “no skeletons in her cupboard”.
