Engyne to launch as premium fashion label with direct to consumer model

Engyne is preparing for its official launch as a premium men’s fashion label targeting urban millennials and style-conscious professionals. Founded by Gnanaprakash, Karthikeyan K, Karthikeyan P, Ramesh Kumar, and Dinesh D, the Bengaluru-headquartered label aims to offer high-quality menswear with global design influences at accessible price points.

The founding team, with previous experience at international labels including Diesel and Guess, identified a gap in the domestic market for affordable luxury menswear. “Engyne is not just about fashion; it’s about redefining expectations,” said Engyne’s director Karthikeyan K, India Retailing reported. “Premium quality should be a choice, not a privilege.”

Launching with its Spring-Summer 2025 collection, the brand will adopt a digital-first, direct to consumer model, according to its Facebook page. Products will be available exclusively through the brand’s official website, with a mobile app also set to launch soon.

“Having our own vertically integrated manufacturing facility gives us a unique advantage,” said Engyne’s director Dinesh D. “From fabric selection to final stitching, we control every step—enabling us to deliver luxury craftsmanship at a fraction of the usual cost. Every garment undergoes the same stringent quality checks as those priced three times higher.”

The launch collection will focus on wardrobe staples, with future product lines including shirts, chinos, jackets, and denim. Engyne plans to drive brand visibility through influencer partnerships and social media-led marketing.
