The HMD Barbie flip phone reminds you of the Nokia phones with its OS and design
Human Mobile Devices (HMD) Global has introduced this unique Barbie-theme flip phone in the Indian market this week. The device is not going to keep you engaged with Reels or your favourite Netflix shows because it only has a 2.8-inch screen that reminds you of the yesteryear Nokia flip phones. Barbie-themed phone means you get it in pink which extends to a pink charging case, a pink battery, back covers, stickers, lanyards and charms.

The HMD Barbie Phone has launched in India at Rs 7,999 for a basic flip phone. You can buy it via the HMD online store.

The HMD Barbie Phone is powered by a Unisoc T107 SoC paired with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of onboard storage. The storage can also be expanded to up to 32GB via a microSD card. The handset features a 2.8-inch QVGA inner display, and a 1.77-inch QQVGA cover display that gives you call and message alerts.
It weighs 123.5 grams and is powered by the basic S30+ operating system that obviously gets Barbie-themed user interface on top. It includes Barbie-themed Easter eggs as well as a beach-themed Malibu Snake game. The keypad is also in a Barbie pink shade and features hidden palm trees, hearts, and flamingo motifs that glow in the dark. When turned on, users are greeted with a “Hi Barbie” tone.
And yes, the phone also has a 0.3MP rear camera along with an LED flash. The Barbie Phone houses a 1,450mAh removable battery with a pink colour option. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, a 4G SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C for charging.
