Royal Enfield Classic 650 To Launch In India On 27 March, Here’s What We Know So Far

According to the details, the decision to add the Classic 650 has been taken to attract more customers, giving them wider options to choose from in the 650cc segment.

The top player in the two-wheel segment Royal Enfield is all set to expand its fleet in India. The company is gearing up to introduce Classic 650, which likely to be launched on 27 March this year. It has been reported that the customers will be able to book the vehicle from next month.

According to the details, the decision to add the Classic 650 has been taken to attract more customers, giving them wider options to choose from in the 650cc segment. It will be the sixth offering in the range and will be sold alongside the Continental GT 650, Interceptor 650, Super Meteor, Shotgun and Bear 650.

The reports suggested that nothing will be changed at the heart. It means the motorcycle will share the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine that will churn out a maximum power of 46.3bhp and 52.3Nm. The unit will be paired with the six-speed gearbox. Talking about the features, it will get LED illumination, a tripper navigation pod with smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and whatnot.

Suspension Setup and Features

For comfort, the Classic 650 will be equipped with telescopic forks at the front, while the rear will be supported by dual shocks. The braking duties will be managed by a single disc at both ends.

As far as the notable elements are concerned, the model will hit the market with a single-seat setup, while the bolt-on pillion seat is expected to be offered by the brand.
