Motorola is set to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming launch of the Moto Edge 60 Fusion in India. As reports say, this new device will succeed the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion that was launched in 2024. While the company has yet to confirm an official launch date, recent reports hint at its possible release timeline and key specifications.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), tipster Abhishek Yadav suggested the India launch date and specifications for the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion. According to the post, the phone will be released in India on April 2, with the first sales beginning on April 9. An official confirmation from the manufacturer regarding the same yet still awaited.
Moto Edge 60 Fusion Features Expected
The Moto Edge 60 Fusion is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. In terms of cameras, the device is expected to feature a dual rear setup with a 50MP Sony LYT700 primary sensor and a 13MP secondary lens. For selfies and video calls, it is likely to include a 32MP front-facing camera, similar to its predecessor, the Moto Edge 50 Fusion.
As for the battery, it is said to pack a huge 5,000 mAh battery, promising longer usage. Additional features include an IP69-rated build for dust and water resistance and military-grade durability of MIL-STD-810.
Moto Edge 60 Fusion Price In India Expected
The Moto Edge 60 Fusion is tipped to be priced below Rs 25,000, following in the footsteps of its predecessor. The Moto Edge 50 Fusion debuted at Rs 22,999 for the base 8GB+128GB variant. According to leaks, the smartphone would be available in three colour variants: blue, pink, and purple. However, the company is yet to announce its exact pricing.
Recently, Motorola teased the arrival of its Moto Edge 60 in India with a promotional video on the E-commerce platform Flipkart. Customers will be able to purchase the device through Flipkart once the sale goes live. The arrival of Moto Edge 60 Fusion seems to be a big competitor to Samsung’s mid-range A-series devices.
