Amazon India has partnered with Youth4Jobs Foundation to support women sellers with disabilities by providing resources, training, and tools to help them succeed in the e-commerce sector. The initiative, part of Amazon’s Saheli programme, aims to enhance digital access and market opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
Through the partnership, Amazon Saheli will conduct workshops and provide onboarding assistance, account management support, and training in key e-commerce skills, the Press Trust of India reported. The programme will cover digital marketing, performance marketing, product listing optimisation, and advertising solutions to help women sellers establish and scale their online businesses.
“Our collaboration with Youth4Jobs aims to support women with disabilities by providing them with the tools and opportunities to build successful businesses on our e-commerce platform,” said Gaurav Bhatnagar, director of sales at Amazon India, India Retailing reported. “We believe this initiative will contribute to creating a more inclusive digital marketplace.”
Women entrepreneurs enrolled in the programme will also gain access to data-driven insights and performance metrics to better understand customer behaviour, preferences, and market trends. This analytical support is designed to help them make informed decisions and improve their business strategies.
Amazon India’s partnership with Youth4Jobs is part of its broader work to foster an inclusive digital economy, according to the business. By equipping women sellers with disabilities with skills and tools, the company aims to bridge accessibility gaps and create new pathways for economic independence in the e-commerce landscape.
