Looks Salon partners with Dermalogica to launch anti-pollution skincare

Looks Salon has partnered with professional skincare brand Dermalogica to introduce the ‘ProSkin 60– Urban Pollution Shield’ treatment across its Mumbai locations to address growing concerns over the effects of pollution on the skin. 

The Looks Salon x Dermalogica treatment is designed to protect skin against the effects of increasing pollution, which has led to a 30% rise in particulate matter levels, Looks Salon announced in a press release. This contributes to premature ageing, dryness, and irritation which its new treatment seeks to mitigate. 

The 60-minute skincare service aims to detoxify and strengthen the skin by deeply cleansing, unclogging pores, and neutralising environmental damage. It features a double cleanse with Dermalogica’s ‘Ultra Calming Cleanser,’ exfoliation using ‘Daily Superfoliant with Activated Binchotan Charcoal’ and ‘Alpha Hydroxy Acid,’ and an aromatherapy blend of eucalyptus and lavender oils. The treatment also includes ‘Antioxidant Hydramist’ toner for hydration, ‘Biolumin-C Pro Serum’ with stabilised Vitamin C for brightening, and ‘Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50’ for sun protection.

The treatment has exclusively launched at Looks Salon outlets in Mumbai and is recommended fortnightly for optimal skin health. “As skincare concerns evolve, we take pride in offering advanced treatments that deliver real results,” said Looks Salon’s CEO Samir Srivastava. “This treatment is designed to help clients combat the impact of environmental stressors and maintain long-term skin health.”
