Princess Kate’s plan to resolve Harry-Williams’ feud
The Princess of Wales, who recently confirmed she is in remission after finishing chemotherapy, is said to be considering using a potential US trip as a chance to initiate talks between her husband and her brother-in-law. According to the insider, Kate thinks heading Stateside as one of her first trips after returning to her public duties could be “a rare chance to meet up with Harry” and “a great step towards making peace.”
“Kate has never been someone that could just turn off her feelings with a switch,” a source reportedly explained to Closer. “And going through cancer has only made her more sensitive and caring…There’s a feeling that if anyone will be able to put this right, it’s Kate.”
There are rumours that Kate has been advocating for a reconciliation between William and Harry since they allegedly gave each other a wide berth at their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral in August. Kate wants Prince Harry to return to UK
The source said the princess would like Harry to return to the UK with her and William, which could also repair Harry’s relationship with his father. The insider told Closer, “She will be pushing for the brothers to have a sit down if this trip happens, she’s very single-minded about it. In her heart of hearts, Kate wants Harry to come back to the UK with them and end the feud with William – and their father King Charles.”
The source said Kate is focusing on making “baby steps” to end the feud. They added, “This wall of silence can only go on for so long, and after everything she went through last year, Kate’s keenly aware of how precious life is.”

Indeed, Kate is believed to be focusing on her family after completing her cancer treatment. The source continued, “She doesn’t want to hang on to bad blood, and she doesn’t want William walking around with that weight on his shoulders either.”
While a tour hasn’t been officially confirmed or planned, according to the source, William and Kate have made “significant moves” towards launching their Royal Foundation charity in the US. The Waleses are said to be working on their plans “pretty intensely” and despite speculation that their move could be “aimed at one-upping Meghan and Harry” in the US, Kate and William don’t consider this to be their aim.
The source added: “Expanding the royal family’s charitable work on a more global scale, and into America, has long been talked about. This isn’t coming out of nowhere.”
