It has been reported that the next-generation Nexon is likely to get new features, improved battery capacity and updated driving dynamics.
After rulling the market with the ongoing generation, the top car maker Tata is all set to bring the next-generation avatar of its hot-selling EV Nexon. The company has not shared any launch-related details as yet.
However, some reports suggested that the updated model is expected to arrive somewhere around Diwali this year. It has been reported that the next-generation Nexon is likely to get new features, improved battery capacity and updated driving dynamics.
Here’s What to Expect
Talking about the design, the upcoming version might share a similar style statement as the outgoing iteration. However, customers can expect some noticeable updates and cosmetic enhancements from both inside and outside.
If rumours are to be believed, the 2025 mid-size electric SUV will continue to get a signature style LED headlight setup, paired with sleek DRLs, and trending connected light bar strip at both ends.
The reports suggested that the brand might include Curvv-styled door handles in the upcoming Nexon.ev. Apart from this an overall side profile is likely to remain the same, featuring decent-sized cladding, automatic side mirrors with integrated turned indicators and identical roof rails.
Features
The other notable features are likely to be a hands-free boot lid, and a more premium interior with a decluttered cabin. It is also likely to get a dual 12.3-inch screen, supported by all the wireless car connect technology such as Apple, Android, and Auto Carplay.
Apart from this, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, and ADAS with multiple autonomous features are expected to be the part of upcoming Nexon.ev.
Battery
The battery and power figures are not known yet. Meanwhile, the current generation comes with a 30 kWh battery pack for the base model, starting at Rs 12.49 lakh, while the top model goes upto Rs 17.19 lakh (all ex-showroom).
