This launch highlights Apple’s dedication to strengthening its presence in India. Apple aims to target customers in metropolitan hubs as well as smaller cities and towns to drive its growth strategy
Apple enthusiasts in India no longer need to visit a physical store to browse and buy the company’s latest products. The tech giant has launched a dedicated app for its official store in India, providing customers with a convenient and personalised shopping experience. Available to existing Apple users in the country, the app streamlines the process of browsing and purchasing Apple phones, laptops, and other devices.
This launch underscores Apple’s commitment to expanding its presence in India. The company aims to reach customers in both metropolitan areas and smaller cities and towns, bolstering its growth strategy. This initiative complements the flagship stores opened in Mumbai and New Delhi in 2023, with plans to establish additional stores in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi NCR, and Mumbai.
Here are some notable features of the app:
Product Tab: Customers can explore Apple’s latest products, accessories, and financing options in one convenient location.
For You Tab: This tab provides personalised recommendations based on one’s browsing history. It saves one’s favourite items and organises them for easy access.
Proceed Tab: After making a purchase, users can connect with Apple experts for a personalised online setup session. For instance, if one purchases AirPods and need assistance with their use, an expert can guide them through the process.
Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s head of online retail, stated, “At Apple, our customers are at the centre of everything we do, and we are thrilled to introduce the Apple Store app to reach even more users in India, deepening our relationship. With the Apple Store app, customers will have an easy way to shop for all our products and get personalised help.”
