According to the Delhi traffic advisory, drivers heading to Vinay Marg, Shanti Path, New Delhi, or beyond must travel via Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Roundabout RML, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, or Park Street-Mandir Marg towards North Delhi or New Delhi
Rehearsals commenced on Kartavya Path on Friday in preparation for the Republic Day parade in Delhi. To facilitate smooth movement during Republic Day parade rehearsals on Kartavya Path, the Delhi Police have issued an advisory detailing roads to avoid. Commuters who frequent Kartavya Path are advised to review the advisory and plan their journeys accordingly to mitigate potential traffic congestion.
An advisory issued by Delhi Police on Wednesday night stated that special traffic arrangements will be in effect for four days. The arrangements are in place for January 17, 18, 20, and 21. The advisory stated that traffic restrictions will be imposed on the Kartavya Path-Rafi Marg crossing, Kartavya Path-Janpath crossing, Kartavya Path-Mansingh Road crossing, and Kartavya Path-C-Hexagon crossing from 10.15 am to 12.30 pm.
People travelling between North Delhi and South Delhi can use Ring Road, Sarai Kale Khan, IP Flyover, Rajghat, Lajpat Rai Marg, Mathura Road, Bhairon Road, Ring Road, Aurobindo Marg, Safdarjung Road, Kamal Ataturk Marg, and Kautilya Marg. Commuters travelling from East to South-West Delhi can use Ring Road to access Vande Mataram Marg.

Meanwhile Delhi Chief Minister Atishi visited the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Republic Day camp in Delhi Cantt on Wednesday. Atishi said that through participation in the NCC, cadets are not only developing their personal skills but also contributing to national and social development through selfless service.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of Republic Day celebrations and reminded the cadets of India’s rich history and the sacrifices made during the national freedom struggle.
