Showcased at the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition (EICMA) last year, the leading two-wheeler maker KTM is all set to bring 390 SMC R in the Indian market.
The comapny has not revealed official launch-related details as yet. However, some reports suggested that the model will arrive in the market this year only.
All About KTM 390 SMC R
The brand has already listed the motorcycle on its official website, revealing some significant details about specs and key features. As per the details shared by KTM, 390 SMC R will use the 399cc, single-cylinder engine, which is expected to generate a maximum power of around 46 bhp. It is the same unit that has been used 390 Duke.
The model will hit the market with KTM’s typical style statement, featuring a single-seating arrangement, measuring an overall seat height of 860mm. It will weigh over 154 kg (wet weight, without fuel). These numbers are slightly lesser as compared to compared to the 390 Duke.
Design
When it comes to the road presence, it will flaunt a similar design as its elder brother, the 690 SMC R. It has been treated with an upright rider triangle, small-sized headlight setup, decent fairings on the side, and 9-litre fuel tank, which is again 6 litres smaller as compared to Duke.
Features
As far as the features are concerned, 390 SMC R comes with a smaller, rectangular 4.2-inch TFT display with trending Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the riders to enjoy music, pick and cut calls, and get important notifications on the display. This screen also the rider to choose riding options between Rain, Street and Race.
