Vietnam-based electric car manufacturer VinFast is all set to enter the Indian market with its tech-loaded electric SUV called VF7 and VF9. It has been reported that the brand will make its debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo, which is kickstarted on 17 January and will remain operational until 22 January 2025.
The decision comes at a time when multiple EV maker giant spreading their roots by entering the country, capturing the masses, and contributing to sustainable mobility development.
All About EVs
According to the details, VinFast VF7 is a five-seater electric SUV, which offers a comfortable travel experience to the occupants. At the same time, VF9 is a three-row electric SUV and comes with 7 seating configuration.
The reports suggested that both the models will be offered in two variants, Eco and Plus, offering an impressive range between 431 km and 450 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle) respectively.
Power and Range
First, the VF7 Eco will hit the market with a single electric motor, capable of generating a maximum of 201 BHP and 310 Nm. The Plus trim will be equipped with dual motors, capable of producing a maximum of 349 BHP and 500 Nm. When it comes to the VF9, both variants will get a 123 kWh battery unit with a maximum power of 396 BHP and 620 Nm.
Top Speed
It has been claimed by the brand that this electric SUV can do a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 6.63 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h.
