Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has added 20 new Ambari Utsav Luxury buses to its fleet, enhancing the state’s public transport options.

These luxury sleeper buses, which first debuted in February 2023, have been well received by the public, and the new additions bring KSRTC’s fleet of Ambari Utsav buses to nearly 40.

The new buses will operate on routes connecting Bengaluru to Mangaluru, Kundapura, Nellore, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Ernakulam, Thrissur, and Kozhikode. One bus will also run between Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport and Kundapura, according to Hindustan Times.

These buses are among the most luxurious in the KSRTC fleet and possibly in the entire country. With the festival season approaching, demand for premium travel options has surged, and these buses are set to cater to the growing number of luxury travellers.
