It has been informed by the company that the upcoming e Vitara will be a global model, which will be manufactured at its facility in India.
The top player in the four-wheel segment Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce the electrified avatar of Vitara. The company has already confirmed that the model will break all the covers during Auto Expo 2025 (Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025), starting from January 17.
Ahead of the official release, the brand has teased the model, hinting about its silhouette and some of the key elements. It has been informed by the company that the upcoming e Vitara will be a global model, which will be manufactured at its facility in India.
Here’s What Teaser Says
Going by the details shared by the brand, it shows a sleek headlight setup, paired with integrated DRLs. The chrome finish logo shines at the front. The teaser did not reveal many details about the vehicle, but it is believed that the electric version will share a lot of design elements with its ICE counterpart. However, some nip and tuck updates are expected from both inside and outside that will make it look quite different from the fuel-powered version.
Battery and Range
Under the hood, e Vitara will be offered in two battery configurations. The first will use a 49kWh option, while the top-spec will be powered by a 61kWh unit. The latter is likely to be treated with an all-wheel-drive option, making it superior in its segment.
When it comes to the range, the model is likely to offer an impressive range of 550km on a single charge.
