The rumours about the features of iQOO 13 look promising once again

iQOO 12 was one of the most affordable flagship phones in the market and the brand could be about to repeat that feat once again

iQOO is ready to enter the flagship market once again as the iQOO 13 is set to make its global debut in November, with India following closely in December. Recent sightings of the iQOO 13 on the IMEI certification site indicate that the smartphone is still in development. iQOO has made a habit of being of the first brands in the market to adopt the latest flagship chipset and 2024 might not be any different with the iQOO 13 expected to follow the tradition.

iQOO 13 Specifications and Features Expected

While specific details are still pending, analysts estimate that the base model of the iQOO 13 will be priced around Rs 55,000. In comparison, the iQOO 12 12GB+256GB variant launched in India at Rs 52,999 making it one of the most affordable phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Following its initial release in China, the official announcement for the Indian market is expected by December 10.

Rumours suggest that the iQOO 13 may feature a slightly smaller 6.78-inch display. The new smartphone is expected to deliver significant performance improvements, thanks to the integration of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is set to replace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The iQOO 13 is expected to offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The camera system is also set for an upgrade, likely featuring a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor, replacing the Omnivision 50MP sensor found in the iQoo 12.

Additionally, the new model may include a 50MP Sony IMX826 telephoto lens and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide sensor, promising improved performance over the camera setup of its predecessor.

The iQoo 13 is expected to feature a 6,150mAh battery, providing a significant upgrade over the iQoo 12’s 5,000mAh capacity.

Furthermore, this new model may support 100W fast charging, slightly lower than the impressive 120W capability of its predecessor.
