In a recent interview, former first lady Melania Trump discussed her childhood in Slovenia and said that if her son Barron had grown up in the same environment as her, he would be different.

In her memoir, which was published on Tuesday, the former first lady describes her early years in Slovenia. Melania stated that Barron’s life in America differed from her own as a child, but she still gives credit to her parents for providing her with a “beautiful” childhood and claims she was too young to understand the negative aspects of the communist society she grew up in.
