The model uses both 1.2L NA petrol and 1.2L turbo-petrol engine. The former generates a maximum power of 80 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, while the latter offers peak output of 108 bhp &190 Nm of torque. 

The France-based car manufacturer has successfully launched the all-new coupe SUV Basalt. Now, the company has revealed the prices of all the variants. It was released at the starting price of Rs ₹ 7.99 lakh, while the top model goes up to Rs 13.62 (all ex-showroom).

Interested customers can pre-book the vehicle from the company’s authorised store nationwide. For those who do not want to physically visit the showroom, the same can be done online via Citroen’s official webiste.

Citroen Basalt has been offered in six variants, allowing the customers to choose the suitable trims.

Citroen Basalt 1.2L NA variants

1.2 NA You – Rs 7.99 lakh

1.2 NA Plus – 9.99 lakh

Citroen Basalt 1.2L turbo-petrol variants

1.2 TURBO Pluse- Rs 11.49 lakh

1.2 TURBO Automatic Transmission PLUS Trim – Rs 12.79 lakh

1.2 TURBO Max = Rs 12.28 lakh

1.2 TURBO AT MAX – Rs 13.62 lakh

To note, all the prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.

The newly launched Basalt comes with an aggressive style statement from the outside, featuring the signature style front grill, and LED headlight setup, paired with split DRLs.

Talking about the overall dimensions, it is 1,765 mm wide,4,352 mm long, and 1,593 mm long. When it comes to the wheelbase, it is 2,651 mm. As far as the boot space is concerned, it is 470-litre, which ensures no luggage is left behind when planning a long journey.
