The top player in the high-performance two-wheeler segment BMW Motorrad is all set to launch the all-new R 1300 GS in India. The successor of R 1250 GS is likely to arrive somewhere in June 2024. Ahead of the official release, the company has shared a teaser across social media platforms, creating more buzz among customers about the motorcycle.

Is Booking Started?
Some reports suggested that a few dealerships have already started accepting the bookings for the same. In case you are interested, the tech-loaded off-roader can be booked by paying a fully refundable token amount of Rs between Rs 50,000 and Rs 1 lakh.
Here’s What to Expect
Some of the notable features and design elements have been revealed already as the motorcycle made its global debut in 2023. The model will come with an aggressive road appearance with a dominant stance, which might attract a lot of customers.
It is expected to arrive with an updated new Matrix LED headlamp setup, featuring X-shaped LED DRLs, a split seating arrangement and a transparent decent-size front visor. The model will be equipped with a new chassis, which is claimed to be stiffer than before.
Top Features
To make it superior in the segment, there will be a fully digital instrument console, allowing the rider to track every single detail about the bike such as RPM, speed, fuel capacity, riding modes, and gear position among others.
The front section will be covered by knuckle guards and will offer integrated LED turn indicators at both ends. The other notable features include a 6.5-inch color TFT display, ride-off assistant, multiple riding modes, Full Integral ABS Pro, and assistant, lane change warning, keyless ignition, front collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and the list goes on.
Engine and Power
At the heart, the model will be powered by a robust 1,300cc twin-cylinder boxer engine. The unit will generate an impressive power of 143.5 BHP at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It will be mated with a 6-speed gearbox, featuring the company’s ShiftCam tech.
